Virginia State Bar: Since 1938, the Virginia State Bar has been responsible for the regulation of the legal profession, protection of the public from lawyer misconduct and support for the rule of law. Through its staff and hundreds of lawyer and lay volunteers, the state bar works to serve lawyers and the public. We provide lawyers with support to better practice their profession, encourage service to our institutions of justice and improve access to that system for all Virginians.

West Virginia State Bar: The West Virginia State Bar is the organization of all lawyers licensed to practice law in West Virginia and exists to serve members, the legal profession and the public. The mission of the West Virginia State Bar is to improve the administration of justice and enhance the provision of legal services to our citizens.
